Suggested Carry Options

How you carry your knife is a very personal thing. It depends greatly on how you will use your knife. Will you be carrying it out while you camp? Or is it an every day carry? Look below to see some of the options that we have done in the past. If you want to combine multiple options just let us know. We will do our best to make what you envision.

keep in mind a couple of things when choosing a carry style
How will you be using your
sheath and knife?
HOW BIG IS THE KNIFE?
FYI ~ Your body shape and size will effect how comfortable the ride is.

High Ride Carry (great for those small knives) all of your knife handle will be above the top of your belt. Available with either a single belt loop (vertical or canted carry) or an x-loop. |

Mid Ride Carry (great all around option) half of your knife handle will be above the top of your belt. |

3/4 Ride Carry (great all around option) like it sounds a third to a quarter of your knife handle will be above the top of your belt. |

Low Ride Carry (great for those larger knives) all of your knife handle will be below the top of your belt. |
 |
Dangler (great for taking big knives out into the wild) usually a little lower than a low ride but has the benifit of a pivot point when paired with a leg loop at the bottom back of the sheath and leg strap. |

Vertical Dundee - utilizes a long strap to carry the knife vertically on your back. Please specify handle up or down. *also we will need your jacket size for this carry option* |

Diagonal Dundee - utilizes a long strap to carry the knife diagonally on your back. Please specify handle up or down. *also we will need your jacket size for this carry option* |

Bandoleer - utilizes a long strap and yoke system. Flexible enough to work with other carry systems. *also we will need your jacket size for this carry option* |

Shoulder Rig - Close fitting secure carry option great for large knive. Can be made to carry a variety of knives with a few modified changes. *we will need your measurements for this carry option due to it's close fitting nature* |

IWB - Inside the Waist Band - only recommended for small knives. Available with a metal belt clip (which can also be used in a pocket) or leather loop. |

HOSS Sheath
This sheath option comes with a
vertical dundee strap, mid or low ride carry, extra loops on the back
and straps for extra carry options.
Ultimate HOSS Sheath
This sheath has all the above plus a dangler loop.
